All customers of restaurants located at the back of Pata Pinklao Department Store, asked to contact the BMA urgently


Pol.Lt.Gen. Sopon Pisuttiwong, Deputy Governor of Bangkok, as the Director of the BMA’s Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration (BMA-CCSA), chaired the meeting of BMA-CCSA, no.106/2020 at Rattanakorin Room, Bangkok City Hall (Sao Chingcha).

Pol.Capt. Pongsakorn Kwanmuang, BMA Spokesman, revealed that the meeting of BMA-CCSA resolved to inform the public that there was a cluster of 8 COVID-19 confirmed cases found in Bangkok. The cases comprise staff of Isarn Krongkaew restaurant and Nong Mai Karaoke, also known as Nong Mai Plaza shop, on Soi Omsin in the back of Pata Department Store. At present, the business owners were asked to close the premises starting from December 26, 2020, onwards and BMA had already cleaned these premises. Therefore, the BMA asked people who visited these places during December 15 – 25, 2020, to urgently contact BMA’s Health Department at telephone no. 0 2203 2393 or 0 2203 2396, opening 24 hours. The BMA will provide advice and vehicle for the risk group to have COVID-19 testing for more safety of themselves, their family members and close contacts. This also the attempt for disease prevention and control of the COVID-19 outbreak so that it will not spread in wider area.
