Mrs. Silapasuai Rawisaengsun, Permanent Secretary for the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), revealed that the BMA defined guidelines for submitting event/activity organizing plan and disease prevention and control measures to the BMA Health Department. The guidelines are for the organization of meetings and seminars with over 200 participants or large-scale activities with mass gathering of over 300 persons according to Announcement of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) on Order of Temporary Closure of Premises (No. 16) dated January 4, 2021. Request submission process is broken into the following steps. Step 1, the organizer of event/activity must submit a letter to Director-General of the BMA Health Department with the detailed information on: 1) types of events/activities such as shareholder meeting and seminar, and format of event/activity such as plan for exhibition booths, food and beverage service management, and procedure of award ceremony; 2) number of attendees and size of the venue; 3) date, time, and place of event/activity; 4) name and telephone number of contact person; 5) measures for prevention and control of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19); and 6) layout plan and photos of the venue for organizing event/activity (if any).
