Permanent Secretary for the BMA commands BMA personnel to strictly comply with COVID-19 Prevention Measures


At present, there is a new surge of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) transmission and the spread of the disease is found in workplaces. In order to prevent and control the spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), Mrs. Silapasuai Rawisaengsun, Permanent Secretary for the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), issued an urgent note commanding officers and employees of all BMA’s organizations and agencies to comply with prevention measures for Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) as specified by the Government.

Everyone must strictly apply social distancing, always wear surgical or fabric face mask, frequently wash hands, and test body temperature before working according to DMHT measures. The following additional measures must be implemented, namely, 1. Have meals separately and individually, refrain from having meals together as a group; 2. Record personal timeline daily and install MorChana application into mobile phone; and 3. Responsible organizations shall provide more alcohol-based hand sanitizer gel for everyone as well as provide it in front of all toilets in Bangkok City Hall.
