BMA held “Royal Kitchen” volunteer activity to provide food for people

Pol.Gen. Aswin Kwanmuang, Governor of Bangkok, accompanied by his spouse, and Mrs. Silapasuai Rawisaengsun, Permanent Secretary for the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), participated in the “Royal Kitchen” volunteer activity by cooking food and distributing to people who are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in three communities and neighboring areas in Bang Khen District. The total of 500 freshly cooked meals were distributed: 100 meals for Ying Siri Community, 200 meals for Ruam Chai Phatthana Tai Community and 200 meals for the 57 Condominium. Drinking water, surgical face masks, and alcohol-based hand sanitizer were also distributed to people.

The Royal Kitchen provided today takes into consideration kitchen management emphasizing cleanliness and principle of food sanitation. All the menus are fresh and clean. Cooks and kitchen staff dress properly according to the standard, namely, wearing hat to cover the hair, apron, surgical mask, and gloves. Kitchen organization and social distancing were also practiced to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
